Dough Boy Donuts

Dough Boy Donuts is a gourmet donut shop in Burleson, Texas. The owner of DBD's, Melvin trusted me to draw two separate designs, one of their indoor deer mascot and himself into a 1950's themed character, with his signature Nike's. 🍩

For the second design, Melvin sent the inspiration/illustration photo of a diner chef in the 1950s. After a few edits back and forth we ended up with something modern but classic, keeping the colors cohesive with the first "deer head" design.
